Room Booking Terms and Conditions

• Prior to renting a room, you need to arrange a face to face meeting with Danielle White, owner of Restore Health & Wellbeing. Danielle will need to see proof of your professional qualifications, your public liability and professional indemnity insurance. An up to date enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (if working with vulnerable clients) will also be required.

• We offer rooms on an ad-hoc (non-member) or rolling contract (member) basis.

• For members, an initial term of six months is required with a deposit of one month’s rent. The agreement may be cancelled by either party with one month’s notice at the end of this period.

• For non-member bookings, a deposit of £50 is required before any bookings can be made.

• All non-member bookings are to be made during the open hours of the studio, therefore keys will not be supplied.

• For those on a rolling contract, your bookings may be outside of the studio opening hours with prior arrangements. Keys may be supplied on signature and return of the agreement. A deposit of £25 is required for keys. All keys must be returned once you have stopped using the room for a month. Any loss of keys must be paid for.

• Members on a rolling contract are also able to make ad-hoc bookings via the online booking system.

• Restore Health and Wellbeing will not deal with any financial transactions between you and your clients. You are responsible for all your client bookings and records.

• You should always work within the guidelines set out by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• The therapy rooms must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and booked through the online booking system. Please double check that the booking has been made correctly as Restore Health & Wellbeing cannot be responsible for any mistakes that are made.

• Please vacate the room as soon as your pre-paid slot has finished. Other therapists may be using the room and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted.

• Neither Restore Health & Wellbeing nor Yoga Balance will accept responsibility for personal or professional items left on the premises.

• You are responsible for the therapy room and its contents during your sessions. Any damage that occurs during this time must be brought to my attention and payment for the damage must be received within 14 days of billing.

• The therapy room must be left in a safe and tidy condition so that other therapists can use it immediately after you. If any incidents or accidents occur that require attention, please report it to me immediately.

• This contract does not create a partnership agreement. You do not have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of Restore Health & Wellbeing It is forbidden to sublet the therapy room or use it for any other purpose other than what has been agreed.

• You are not permitted to make a copy of room keys and you are not permitted to give your keys to a third party.

• Non-member bookings can be made via the on-line booking system. Failure to make payments as agreed may result in the termination of the contract between Restore Health & Wellbeing and yourself and may result in legal action.

• There is a 24 hour cancellation policy and payment for the room will need to be paid for in full whether the room is occupied or not.

• Bookings must be taken on an hourly or half hourly basis.

• If you are the last person to leave the building, you must ensure that all lights are switched off, the heaters are switched off, all windows are closed and the door has been locked as instructed.

• Any clients referred to you by Restore Health and Wellbeing must be seen at our therapy rooms at Yoga Balance. If it is discovered that you are transferring clients to alternative premises, you will no longer be considered for new referrals.
